Our son will be 7 soon. He's really just mine and Erin's. Ha! We're a bit possessive. We admit it. Unbelievable how time flies. He was just a few months old when we started with The Dr. Phil Show. Now he has grown into quite the young boy and Erin and I have grown bonds that are much deeper than friendship, kinda like sisters (I imagine), yet share something only mothers of the same son can.
Ours too is a love story of sorts. I hope she'll actively and maybe even publicly share her perspective along this journey. However, she may choose not to. Either way, she'll know and be a part of anything that's shared, after all, she's grown to become my best friend and I will always respect her wishes.
